Department of Natural Sciences focuses on the interdisciplinary applications of Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in various disciplines. Foundations of these subjects are taught to undergraduates of up to fifth semester in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil and Geomatics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Environment Science, Applied Physics and Human Biology. This department also offers Mphil and PhD programs in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Our major objective is in capacity building of undergraduate and graduates on interdisciplinary applications of theoretical knowledge.
Qualification for Application:
At least 17 years of education 10+2+3+2 in the relevant subject at various levels, with a minimum of first division or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 or above.
Clarification:
Once the necessary minimum qualification is obtained through programs run by the relevant department, an application for a Ph.D. can be made. If such programs are not available in the relevant department or are not available for an individual, the department may reject the application.
