B. Sc. in Applied Physics

B.Sc. in Physics is designed to provide students with a solid base in the fundamentals of modern physics and their applicationa ans to prepare graduates to continue their study in M. Sc. program or for a proffessional career in science and technology. A graduate of this program will be most adaptable individual in applied physics graduates work alongside engineers and other researchers to develop new technologies and improve upon existing ones. In this program, students will gain an understanding of core areas of physics as well as specialized applications in building electronic devices and understanding the underlying pronciples that make many of the technologies we ese every day work.
The basic requirements are composed oa a core, which all physics students must take, and a set of technical and other electives chosen in different possible options depending on the interests of the students. The total required credit hours for this degree is 144.
